Sailing to locales such as Alaska, Europe, the Panama Canal, the Caribbean and the Mexican Riviera, the Sea Princess offers an upscale cruise experience with casual style. The ship was built in 1998 but was refurbished and added to the Princess fleet in 2005, and holds up to 1,950 people. This is a mid-size ship and is the third in Princess’ line of “Sun Class” vessels.

Over 400 of the staterooms have balconies and the public areas showcase an amazing art collection. Guests can experience live shows in the Princess Theater or Vista Show Lounge, play games of chance in the casino till the wee hours, or dance all night at the disco. Enrichment classes are offered through Princess’ Scholarship@Sea program with classes and education on a variety of topics. There is also an internet café, casino, an assortment of shops and boutiques and two main pools with hot tubs to enjoy. Families will appreciate the children’s fun zone area with a splash pool, video games and theater.

Restaurant choices include two main dining rooms, offering both traditional assigned dinner seating or “anytime” dining with a flexible schedule. The casual Horizon Court offers 24 hour meal service or guests wishing to experience a more exclusive atmosphere can make a reservation at one of the specialty restaurants. For fitness and sports recreation, the gym has top of the line equipment and aerobic, yoga and other fitness classes. The Lotus Spa has sauna and steam rooms, as well as massage and other treatments.
