Another of Princess’ largest ships, the Star Princess was launched in 2002 and has a capacity of 2,600. This ship embodies the class and style Princess is known for, with understated, elegant décor and an intimate feel despite the large size.

Over 700 of the ships staterooms have balconies and there are 22 suites with separate sitting areas. Televisions, refrigerators and mini-bars are standard in all cabins. In the public areas, guests will love to explore the Grand Plaza Atrium with its surrounding shops and boutiques. There are four swimming pools and nine whirlpools, a large fitness center, jogging track and paddle ball for the workout enthusiasts. Those seeking evening entertainment can experience a first class live show or watch a movie at the Princess Theater and the Vista Show Lounge. The nightclub action can be found at Skywalkers or the Explorers Lounge, while passengers who want to enjoy a Monte Carlo night can play the hours away at the Grand Casino.

Princess’ “Personal Choice” dining program gives guests plenty of options when it comes to meals. There are traditional assigned dining times available in the Amalfi Dining Room or open seating at the Portofino and Capri Dining Rooms. Casual meals can be found at the 24 hour Horizon Court or the Prego Pizzeria.
